What has been written in this post is so true!! May Allah protect us and have mercy upon us! lol... A recent convo btwn 2 people in the same family: Person A: I want the simplest wedding ever... Person B: (In sheer shock!) "You mean you won't wear a wedding dress?" Person A: "no... we as muslims oppose the non - muslims...etc." Person B: (totally baffled) "so you won't be wearing a wedding dress? But that's every girls dream!!...." People these days make their dreams from what they see on TV and read in Magazines.. not from beautiful personalities like Hazrat Fatima RA..etc...! Which is a huge big shame! ufff Nauzibillah! What has been written in this post is so true!!

I believe people do not want to comments on such things that has so much value in our families. I believe if we do not stand up to these non- islamic customs that are practiced at the time of marriages then unfortunately at the time of our children we will be still celebrating them. May Allah give us the Taufiq (Divine Aid) to act appropriately. Ameen.
