Assalamu-Alaykum (Peace be Upon you)
Just for You my Lord, just for You
My prayer is for You, my fasting is for You.
Just for You my Lord, just for You
My Qur’an, my Hajj, my Zakat are all simply just for You.
My modesty, my character, are not for anybody else
They won’t be able to give me Jannah, they can’t save from the Fire of Hell.
To make others smile and to displease Thee?
I must be out of my mind, it’s not the way to be.
Just for You my Lord, just for You
My every living, breathing second is simply just for You.
May Allah give us all the Ikhlaas (sincerity) in our hearts to make every action that we do for His pleasure. Ameen.
