Remember Mohammed Ibn-Musa al-Khowarizmi?
Well for those of you thinking, huh? , the great Khowarizmi could be regarded as the father of Algebra - yes, I know, we’re talking maths again!
Not only is Al-Khowarizmi regarded as the founding father of Algebra, but he actually popularised Algebra into a distinct topic from Geometry as well as introducing a value for pi and producing algorithms and trigonometric tables - whew!
Truly Al Khowarizmi was a great Muslim mathematician whose contribution to mathematics has helped all those who came after him. May Allah fill his grave with Noor (Light).
