Manage your Life!

image_0107_m1.jpgAssalaamu-Alaykum (Peace be Upon you)

Busy, busy busy!! That’s what everybody seems to be these days – busy!

Busy at work, busy at home, even busy relaxing! Yes, these days it seems that we have to take special ‘time out’ for everything – even being with our loved ones and chilling out!

Maybe it’s got something to do with the lack of Barakah (abundance, blessings, there is no English translation of this word) in time – a sure sign of what our Prophet (PBUH) foretold…

So that means that it is even more important to manage our time properly and get the best out of the day. And on that note, I would like to direct my esteemed readers to the Siratt LifeBook.

Aside from the catchy name, the LifeBook is a diary but with a difference – it’s an Islamic diary!

The week is spread over 2 pages which contains one Hadith (Tradition of the Prophet(PBUH)), an Islamic ‘fact of the week’ and a weekly Islamic goal. It also has a daily Salaat (Prayer) tracker which is very useful and some quite beautiful Islamic artwork for the beginning of each month.

It is clearly aimed at the modern, professional Muslim whose daily life is a balancing act, and it does well in its aim of directing your thoughts on a daily basis from this temporary life to the abode where we will be forever – the Akhirah (Hereafter).

I have been using it for just under a year now and have found it extremely useful and interesting alhumdulillah (all Praises belong to Allah).

May Allah give us all Barakah in our time.

  1. Well of course every1z really busy these days!!

Yeh right! If people were so busy they wouldn’t be sitting around there computers reading these messages on the blog, would they?
But I don’t think a diary would make much difference to our busy lifestyles. I keep a diary, it does plan my life/day ahead and what I need 2 remember 2 do everyday, but in a way it makes my life quite hectic aswell. Because my diary’s usually full. And I can’t use the excuse of “oh I forgot 2 cum!” bcoz it’s all written down in advance

  2. Thanx for sharing this, will defenitley take time out from my busy schedule to have a look, eid Mubabrak.
