Kum on Y’All – Let’s Clean it Up!

Just a quick reminder as to the clean up program organised by ‘Kum on Y’All’ tomorrow. It’s basically for anyone who wants to come and help clean up the streets of lovely Savile Town, Dewsbury! Here are the full details:
Event: ‘Kum on Y’All – Let’s Clean it Up’
Date & Time: Saturday 31 May 2008 from 10 am onwards.
Venue: Please meet at the Taleem Centre on Orchard Street, Savile Town, Dewsbury, WF12 9LT.
Remember that for a Muslim, cleanliness is half of Faith, so please make it down if you can and help make our residential area a cleaner and more enjoyable one to live in – make sure your not wearing your Friday best!

It’s a project to clean and raise awareness of how important it is in Islam to stay clean, also it is to bring people together and work together. It is when people get together that we can get things done and a lot needs to be done. SO Kumon Y’all LETS get together and do what needs to be done..

Sorry I have just seen this now it was open to all genders if some of our ladies phoned we would have designated a area for them to clean. Insha allah next time.
We finished today and we found all sorts syringes alcohol bottles. We all need to get together and clean UP.

Syringes / alchol bottles not good.
Could be a good idea to post the finding somewhere so people in the community can be more aware- or atleast acknowledge what is happening.
talks on the dangers of syringes especially where little kids play i feel is very important.
