‘Marketing’, nice way of putting it. Your right, as Muslims we’re able to ‘market’ even as we pass our day. At Uni or work whilst interacting with colleagues,portraying good character would inshaAllah indirectly serve as dawah and break common sterotypes. Even at the checkout, for example, a please , thank you, from a person identifiably Muslim could challenge pre- conceptions and thus work as dawah.

The timing of this post is great! There’s an art exhibition open to the public from 25th June- 12th July. ‘Change in Perspective’ displays the work of 4 local Muslim girls. The website of one of these is: naila-afeefah.co.uk, but is currently unavailable (but will be up and running again soon, inshaAllah!). Through her work she is introducing Islam, directly and indirectly, to the world of art, thus propagating Islam and also challenging sterotypes of Muslim women.Her method of propagating Islam. Her work is definitely worth viewing!
