To realise the Greatness of Allah we really don’t have to look far, time and time we hear the Scholars say to see Allah’s Greatness look at the sun, the sky, the trees, his animals and you will see Allah’s Greatness. You see, Allah has created such a beautiful world for us human beings to live in. A world where the Earth provides food for us, not only from the soil but from the sea too. The millions of types of food and fish we have – absolutely amazing!!

As we know on the Day of Judgment when Allah will question us on how we spent our health, wealth and time, we will also be asked how did you use the Nemahs (blessings) that were provided for us…..?

You see global warming, climate change are not just a fancy words it is in fact very true. As Muslims, it is our duty that we use what Allah has provided for us in the way He intended us to as shown by the great Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH). The Prophet (PBUH) showed mercy not only to mankind but for all of Allah’s creations. Many times we hear from Scholars and talks that the trees praise Allah, the fish praise Allah, indeed everything in this world, the whole of Creation praises Him. But if we as Muslims don’t help protect Allah’s creation then have we really followed the Prophet (PBUH)’s teachings and shown mercy to Allah’s creation?

Simple things like re-using handbags, recycling – very very small things are helping protect Allah’s creation. But the question I ask is as we watch Allah’s beutiful creation get harmed, have we as Muslims have really done our bit to help - have we shed a tear, or even prayed to Allah to help protect his creation….?

Our hearts get heavy when we hear of people dying and being harmed but should we not feel the same sorrow and sadness as we see the very environment around us including the animals, being destroyed by our very hands?

So let us pray to Allah that His creation is saved from harm and let us do our bit. And although this post is one of millions done by bloggers all over the world about climate change on Blog Action Day 2009, let’s really take the message on board and do something positive for our planet and thanking Allah by doing something everyday to preserve it.

And Allah knows best.

Ma’as-salaam – With Peace

Assalaamu-Alaykum – Peace be Upon you

Most role models these days tend to be the famous celebrities that we see on the screen or in print everyday. They range from your beautiful film stars, soap stars, right through to the latest fashion models, sports men and women and also increasingly, as money is taking over our lives more and more, business men and women.

By definition, these people are the sorts of people who we look up to and imitate. Some we may imitate because of their skill in footbal, others because of their latest haircut, and some simpy because they have money, riches and a lifestyle which we want for ourselves – therefore, you could say that the models we follow today are those who have something to do with the material nature of this world and nothing spiritual, moral or ethical whatsoever.

And that is why we are content to read the front pages of the tabloids and crticise the celebrity who has been pictured, but yet we still hold them in some sort of awe just because of their ‘rank’ as celebrity. In short, you could even say that today we have become more and more driven by the material and aesthetic side of life and, therefore, we follow those who have achieved that.

But is that the definition of a role model?

Aren’t role models supposed to be those special people who have great human and personal qualities which have set them apart from the rest of us? Aren’t they the people who have shown us true morals and have thus led the human race, showing us what is meant to be a true human being?

Let me introduce you to my role model…..the greatest man that will ever walk the face of the earth, Muhammad (Peace be Upon him).

Muhammad (PBUH) showed us through his conduct, how to respect each and every person according to their worth and that how each and every creation is special and valuable in the eyes of Allah.

Muhammad (PBUH) taught us the virtues of patience, piety, honesty, courage, bravery and humility.

Muhammad (PBUH) invigorated out minds with the knowledge of Islam and recharged our dead spiritual batteries with the light of Faith.

Muhammad (PBUH) told us to respect the poor and take good care of the orphans.

Muhammad (PBUH) gave women the highest rank ever given by a human being by declaring that if anybody wanted Heaven, then they would find it under the feet of their mothers.

Muhammad (PBUH) taught us to respect our elders, have mercy on our youngsters, and he ground the importance of keeping peace between people deep in our hearts.

And not only did Muhammad (PBUH) teach us how to live amongst each other, but he also taught us how to live with ourselves.

He told us that purity is half of Faith and taught us all that we needed to know to uphold that teaching. We follow him in everything; from the way we dress, to the way we eat, right through to the way we sleep – he has given us everything we need to know in order to live comfortably in this life pleasing Allah and in such a way as to prepare for the life to come.

So that, my dear readers, is MY idea of a role model – one who gives us the complete way to live our lives – a way which is pleasing to Allah and a way which fulfils the rights of each and every living thing around us. Not one of shock, of outrage and of indecency which the ‘celebrities’ of are muddying our lives with today. I think it would not be out of place for me to even say that these people are only held in high esteem because of their wealth and that if they did not have that, then they would have no other endearing qualities about them that would make them fit to be role models.

And that is why you will find that it is not for any old reason that Western and non-Muslim writers have themselves written after studying the life of the great Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (PBUH), that the way of life he showed humanity is the most perfect and complete way of live for a human being.

Out of the many examples I could give you, let’s just take one of his teachings. 1400 or so years ago, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us regarding the etiquettes of eating, that when we eat, we should divide our stomach into thirds and have one third for food, one third for water and one third for air.

Now, 1400 years later science can now prove the health benefit if a person eats according to that structure!

So whether it be physical, mental or spiritual, by studying the lifestyle of Muhammad (PBUH) and following it, the human being can attain perfect equilibrium with the surroundings Allah has given us in this life without for a moment forgetting the life to come in the Akhirah (Hereafter) and making the necessary preparations for it.

And Allah knows best.

Ma’as-salaam – With Peace

Assalaamu-Alaykum – Peace be Upon you

At the time of writing, the current Swine Flu pandemic has claimed 29 lives in the UK with experts saying that unfortunately more loss of life is to follow.

So how do you beat it? How do you protect yourself from one of the most deadliest viruses on this planet right now?

Well in this short article, we at Hidayahblog aim to put forward the steps we should take in both the material world as well as the spiritual world to safeguard ourselves and our families from Swine Flu. Of course, at the end of the day, the matter rests with Allah Almighty, but that does not mean that we cannot make do with whatever means He has given us.

The NHS Swine Flu Pandemic says that good hygiene is the most effective action to minimize the spread of inflection. As the catch-line goes:

CATCH IT – Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing and using a tissue when possible. If someone coughs or sneezes and they do not cover it, those droplets can spread about one metre (3ft).

BIN IT – Dispose of dirty tissues promptly and carefully do not put in pocket and re-use.

KILL IT - Maintain good basic hygiene, for example, washing hands frequently with soap and water to reduce the spread of the virus from your hands to your face or to other people. Clean hard surfaces (such as door handles and telephones) frequently using a normal cleaning product

If you do become ill stay at home until 2 days after your symptoms resolve you can get the help you need from the NHS and your flu friends as described below.

If you are at work or in a school, nursery, mosque, church, synagogue or any other public or religious building, you should consider the following:

Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning materials are available and that there are procedures for regular cleaning of hard surfaces.

Ensure that hand hygiene facilities are adequate and working properly.

Ensure that you have stocks of tissues, paper towels and soaps.

Consider how you might use hand cleansers, for example at the entrances to rooms or sites without hand-washing faclities.

Check that you have procedures for isolating (with appropriate supervision) anyone who falls ill within your building.

Ensure that your communities are all aware of the relevant procedures that will be put in place during a pandemic and of the infection control.

Flu friends – Please encourage and even organise members of your congregation to be Flu Friends to collect antivirals, essential supplies and food for those in the community that are unable to do so themselves.

So now that we’ve discussed the practical meausres we can implement, let’s talk about the spiritual.

Although there are lost of prayers and supplications of the Prophet (PBUH) we can make, the only authentic Dua (supplication) which is on everybody’s texts and e-mails is the following one:

اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الجنون، والجذام والبرص، وسيئ الأسقام

Allahumma Innee A’uthubika Minal Barasi Wal Junooni Wal Judhaami Wa Sayyi’il Asqaam

Oh Allah, I seek your refuge from leprosy, insanity, mutilation and from all serious illnesses.

Sunan an-Nasai

There are also lots of other prayers from the Ahaadith (Traditions of the Prophet PBUH) and the Holy Qur’an which we should all be praying on a daily basis for general protection from harm and disease, but you will be able to see the relevance of this one by looking at the meaning.

So there you have it – our quick guide to combating Swine Flu. Insha-Allah (with the help of Allah) I hope that I have shown all our readers how Islam teaches us to tackle even things like disease. By taking the practical means that God has given us, but then at the end ALWAYS turning back to Him and acknowledging that we only have these practical means because of Him and they only work because He wills it.

And Allah knows best.

Ma’as-salaam – With Peace

Assalaamu-Alaykum – Peace be Upon you

Well I’m sure you’ve all heard and read about the Romanian families who have decided to quit Northern Ireland as a direct result of the violent racist attacks they endured over the past couple of weeks. Yes, it seems, that some of the residents of Northern Ireland think that they are better than those poor Romanians and feel that their self-appointed ’superiority’ gives them an excuse to atatck and belittle these people.

On my part, and I thank Allah for this, I have never understood how and why a person can discriminate towards another purely on the basis that they are from a different place or because their skin tone is different. It is as if those racist people are saying that it was due to their own ingenuity, skill and effort that they came from a certain place or that they were born that colour because of their choosing.

Well as we all know that is not correct. We did not have any say where we were born, who we were born to and what colour our skin is – that was decided by He who controls the entire Universe, God Himself.

So then what right does a person have to inflict pain and suffering on another fellow human being when he or she himself is only from that certain place or is that certain colour due to the choosing of Allah like everybody else? Are we not all of the same flesh, bone and blood? Do we not all have needs, emotions and desires? Are we not all human beings??

What does Islam have to say about all of this then?

Well as I explained in one of my earlier posts, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) categorically stated in his Farewell Speech that no Arab is superior to a non-Arab and no non-Arab is superior to an Arab. No white is superior to a black, and no black is superior to a white, and that the best out of all mankind are those who are righteous in the eyes of Allah. Furthermore, Allah explains in the Qur’an that He created us from a male and female and from different tribes and nations so that we may recognise each other and that the best are those who are the most pious.

So there really is no need, no need whatsoever, to discriminate against anybody because of their colour, race and Islam even teaches, their creed. Because at the end of the day, we ARE all human beings, breathing the same air, with the same blood flowing through our veins and wanting and desiring the best for ourselves.

So why don’t we also desire the best for others? Islam teaches that a true Musliim is he who desires for others what he desires for himself. So my message to all those people who discriminate is this – what if you were on the other side? And what if you were part of a minority community being hassled by the host for a crime no greater than being different to them?

And finally, would you want them to treat you as you have treated them? With bricks and missiles and living in fear, or would you want them to be kind, open, sympathetic and see through the language and customs barrier into the person who really is no different to you?

As the great Ptophet (PBUH) used to say every morning upon awakening, I testify that all men are brothers.

Ma’as-salaam – With Peace

Assalaamu-Alaykum – Peace be Upon you

Now as we all know for the last few weeks, all we have heard is MPs and their extravagant expense claims. Many are being asked to stand down from their post and many are now being investigated further – whichever way you look at it, it ain’t good!

But one thing that hits me is why do they do it? When discussing this over some food with friends and family, one answer that came up amongst others was that of honesty, and when you consider it yes that’s what it boils down to.

So what is honesty? Honesty is the value of speaking truth and creating trust in minds of others. This includes all varieties of communication, both verbal and non-verbal. Honesty implies a lack of deceit (thank you Wikipedia!).

For me the definition says it all - if a person adheres to honesty, the value of speaking the truth in, then that is the way of our blessed Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (PBUH) who taught us our complete way of life. Islam dictates that honesty should permeate into everything we do in our lives, in business, in talking to our friends and family, working lives and social lives.

Today it has become the norm to take advantage of those who are honest, we see it all the time when people are looking at ways to make a quick buck, deceiving others to gain an advantage, spreading rumours about others so the person in question is made to look bad, in fact there are so many things, that the list keeps going on and on.

If, however, a person is honest and fears Allah and that one day he has to answer for his doings then not only does he see a happy world and society around him but Allah provides him with internal bliss and peace.

In the absence of honesty, many social diseases appear. If a person is dishonest, he is ready to tell lies, to bribe, to be bribed, to distort the truth, to cheat, to forge, to deceive others, and to break his promises.

Islam, however, orders the Muslim to be honest to himself and others. This order repeatedly comes in the Noble Qur’an and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Islam orders the Muslim to tell the truth even if it is against the teller’s interest. It orders him not to cheat or deceive other people. A Muslim is ordered by Allah to be honest in his words and deeds, privately and publicly alike.

The Prophet’s (PBUH) high standard of manners made him a model for all Muslims to follow. He used to emphasise how important good manners are for Muslims. For example, Imams Bukhari and Muslim reported that the Prophet (PBUH) mentioned the following:
• “The best of you is the best among you in conduct.”
Someone once asked the Prophet (PBUH) what deed would lead a man to Paradise, and he answered:
• “Taqwa of Allah (piety) and good conduct.”

And to be quite honest (!!) it makes perfect sense. Honesty is the best policy because it leads a human being to contentment because there is no nagging feeling in the heart that he or she has done wrong – there is none of that looking over the shoulder business!

Whereas the people who are dishonest are continually worried about something, wondering if their scam paid off, checking to see if the last person they deceived has caught up with them – all you have to do is take a look at the faces of the MPs who are being investigated and you will know what I mean.

So I pray that Allah helps us realise the importance of honesty and gives us all the ability to be honest all day, every day, in everything that we do for the rest of our lives. And so once again, we see not only how Islam encourages the truth, but how it actually becomes the definition for the truth.

And Allah knows best.

Ma’as-salaam – With Peace

Assalaamu-Alaykum – Peace be Upon you

As I was going to the Masjid (Mosque) to pray Asr yesterday, I met one of my friends from way back. Quickly walking into the Masjid, I asked him how he was (as you do!), to which he replied with the strangest comment.

He said, ‘Oh you know, work, home, work, home, the same old routine‘ – and that almost stopped me in my tracks had I not been going for prayer.

Have we as Muslims living in Britain reached such a stage already that we class our existence to be worthy of only those things – work and home? Then I thought that maybe I was being a bit harsh in thinking that, but then I remembered all the times I have wondered when talking to Muslims about their apparent unease in talking or discussing anything to do with propagating Islam, and now I wonder, that is there a growing contingent of Muslims in this country who do not regard themselves bound by the duty of propagating Islam?

Indeed, it may not even be their fault. I for one was unaware until my early twenties that one of the reasons I am here on God’s green earth is not only to worship Him, but to do as much as I can in calling others to His worship. Now whether I am fulfilling that duty can definitely be answered in the negative, but when I listen to some people, I really do wonder that is it because they do not know or is it because they do not want to?

If you have read any of my previous posts, then you will know that I believe Islam to be a way of life which is dynamic in every aspect and which goes according to the nature of man. Allah the Greatest has not told us not to work. And He has not told us not to look after our families. But He has told us about how we should work. And He has told us about the position of a man’s family in respect of His relationship with his Lord. And even our Prophet (PBUH) showed us how to ‘chill’ as it were – within the framework of Shariah.

But nowhere has Allah said to make work, family or seeking luxuries the purpose of our existence. To me that goes against the nature of man. Just look at those who do nothing but work all their lives. You would think with all that effort, they would be the ones with the most peace and security. Yet why is it that the man in his villa is needing sleeping tablets whereas the beggar on the street sleeps soundly with his head resting on a brick?

And you would think that if a person ‘had it all’ and led a jetsetting, thrillseeking lifestyle, they would be the happiest and most content people on earth. So then why the need for the next high? The bigger trip? The highest wave?

So here’s what I think – Islam is the greatest of all gifts that our Creator could bestow upon the created. And for those of us blessed with the ultimate gift, living in Britain is another gift, because it is an opportunity for us to show through our work, play and Islam that we are an asset to society and not people who are consumed by our own greed and intent on cornering their little ‘piece of the pie’.

So work hard, play hard but pray harder – only then will we break free from the shackles of Shaitaan (the Devil) and lead an existence of calm and tranquillity. And remember, a Muslim is he who desires for others what he desires for himself so we should do what we can by taking part in activities which describe the lesson of humanity taught by Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims and thereby gain the pleasure of Allah.

May Allah give us all the Taufiq (ability) to do the right actions woth the correct intentions.

Ma’as-salaam – With Peace

Assalaamu-Alaykum – Peace be Upon you

So why have there been no posts on Hidayahblog recently? What have I been doing for the last couple of weeks?

Well first of all I have to apologise. Factors including coming home late from work (I know, it’s no excuse!), organising the recent practical demonstration on how to wash a dead body together with my trip to Dubai have meant that I have not been able to blog as much as I would like to – but now I’m back!

And now that I’m back, there should be a lot more posts on Hidayahblog insha-Allah (with the Will of Allah). But before I carry on, I would just like to remind all readers (whether they know me or not!) to please leave a comment and let me know what you think of the blog and the topics we discuss. This will help me and my crack team of writers, designers and programmers (!!) to improve the blog and make it more accessible to everybody.

Anyway, I heard some discussion of a famous episode in the life of the Sahaba (Companions) of the Prophet (PBUH) which relates to the importance of having a clean heart towards everybody. The story goes that Abdullah Ibn Amr, after being told by the Prophet (PBUH) that a particular Companion was guaranteed Heaven, stayed with that Sahabi for three nights to find out what special act he did which had earnt him that status.

After finding no special action, Abdullah Ibn Amr disclosed the reason for staying with the Sahabi, whereupon he replied that there was not anything special about him except that he forgave everybody in his heart every night before going to sleep.

Subhanallah (Allah is Pure) what an amazing thing! It’s such an easy thing to say but so very hard to do – to truly forgive everyone from the bottom of your heart for anything they may have done to you – that’s amazing!

Now take this example and apply it to our daily life. How many people are there in our lives that we do not agree with, do not like for some reason or another or just plainly hate for no reason whatsoever!? If you think about it spiritually, by having these ill-feelings towards people, our hearts do become blackened, which gives Shaitaan (the Devil) more opportunity to build up animosity towards others in our hearts.

But just look at the Sahaba – they were above all that! Just purely to seek the pleasure of Allah, they forgave others in their hearts, which resulted in the Prophet (PBUH) of Allah proclaiming that they will be the dwellers of Jannah (Paradise) whilst they were still alive in this world.

To be honest guys, we need to learn to start doing this. We need to show people what Islam teaches about the character and treatment of human beings by being pure ourselves. The Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) showed the world an example of this par excellence and raised their status in the eyes of the people and more importantly in the eyes of their Lord – we need to start doing this so that we too are held in high esteem for practising the religion of Islam.

And who knows? Through our efforts to better ourselves, Allah may give others to ability to do the same. Now isn’t that what we want?

One thing we must remember though is that this is not a thing to do by half-measures – oh no! To forgive someone, even when they have wronged you is in my eyes not only the right thing to do, but a truly brave thing to do.

Why?

Not because it’s impossible, but because by doing so we are saying no to the the easy path of not liking someone - a path which Shaitaan will do his best to lead us down to create animosity, division and hatred between human beings.

So, a pure heart is definitely a brave heart – not the one that conquers battlefields, but the kind which wins hearts and minds, the true way of Islam.

And Allah knows best.

Ma’as-salaam – With Peace

Assalaamu-Alaykum -Peace be Upon you

Alhumdulillah (all Praise belongs to Allah) I count myself very lucky indeed to have heard the talk by Moulana Zahidur Rashdi in Zakaria Masjid on Sunday 19 April 2009.

It was billed as the challenges facing the Muslims and was indeed a very refreshing, and thought-provoking talk by the scholar.

He focussed on what those challenges actually were for the Muslim as an individual, as a member of his/her local Muslim community, as a member of the national and international Muslim community and finally, as a member of the community of mankind.

And he concentrated on some of the problems like corruption, but, it was what he said at the end that really interested me and, and to be honest, something which I feel really strongly about.

In identifying possible solutions for the challenges facing Muslims in this day and age, he stated that one thing we should always be on top of is what is happening in the world around us. This means keeping up to date with current affairs locally, nationally and globally. And my personal opinion about that is, when we have an understanding about what is happening around us, then we will be able to put our Islam into practice in the best possible way and in doing so, not only counter each new challenge as it comes, but also stay away from those things which may be damaging to our Faith.

The other thing that the respected scholar mentioned was that Allah has given each human being unique qualities, and it is these qualities we have – our strengths – which we should be putting to good use to help not only in spreading Islam but also in helping the whole of humanity in general and being of benefit to the societies we live in.

So there you go, it was a talk by an elder scholar which was really refreshing for me. Why? Well because it concentrated mainly on the principles and ideologies which I love about Islam. Principles such as how Islam encourages its adherents to help humanity and not just the Muslims and ideologies such as the interrelationship between religion and politics and how the animal of politics can be tamed when guided by the hand of Islam.

I just hope that Allah keeps on giving us more of these scholars who are driven by nothing other than helping humanity rather than those who continue to do and say as the people want so that their pockets become deeper and deeper….

Ma’as-salaam – With Peace

A day in which we celebrate our amazing mothers, a day dedicated to them, so what do we do buy them flowers, some chocolate etc. but do we truly value our mothers. What status do our mothers really hold?

A man once asked the Prophet to whom he should show the most kindness. The Prophet replied: “Your mother, next your mother, next your mother, and then your father.” (Sunan of Abu-Dawood)

Should I say anymore?

That same mother who did not sleep when we were sick, same mother that went hungry for us, even when we broke every rule in the book caused such grief but still loves us.

On another occasion, the Prophet said: “God has forbidden for you to be undutiful to your mothers.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

So should mother’s day be only ONE day?

In a way all I want to mention is do we show enough love and gratitude towards our parents, our elders and mercy upon our youngsters?

The Prophet peace be upon him has showed us how to lead our life, not just how to pray and how to do business no but the complete way of life of how to conduct ourselves around others. In today’s fast and demanding world everyone all look on how to benefit themselves, Me me me. If we all start doing me me me when will we ever have the chance to show our gratitude to parents for all their love and even our lord for all that we have.

You have always been there, through thick and thin
You were there when I tore any skin
You were there to cuddle and kiss me
You are the best Mother there can be.

You cook and clean and tidy up
And you never complain
I wonder how you stay sane.

You’re entertaining and fun
I don’t know how you find the time to run
around and do the things you do
So Mother, I just want to say, “I Love You!!”

Ma’as-salaam – With Peace

Assalaamu-Alaykum – Peace be Upon you

In Islam, one of the steps to understanding God and building your relationship with Him is the concept of fearing Him.

Why fear?

Because as we all know, when any human being fears another, they either try to stay away from that person or do what they can to please them so that there is no retribution or punishment.

So, apply that to the fear of Allah – say that one of the reasons is the fear of Allah’s punishment on Qiyyamah (The Day of Resurrection) or being thrown into Jahannam (Hell), then automatically it will lead a person to stay away from doing all those things which are the cause of Allah’s displeasure and try to do as much as possible to please Him and thereby be saved.

Now it doesn’t end there, and this is another reason why I personally think that Islam is truly designed by the Creator for the creation: Human nature being as it is, Allah knew that if He only told us to fear Him then it would go against our nature probably lead to something like all the Muslims being depressed forever!

But no!

We as Muslims believe that Allah is One but that He has many qualities, and although we believe Him to be the One who punishes, we also have the balancing belief that He is the Most Merciful…..

So now you see the beauty of the way of life given to us by Allah through His Messenger, Muhammad (PBUH), who laid down the Islamic principle that true faith lies between fear of Allah’s punishment and hope in Allah’s Mercy.

That if He wants, there is no one quicker than God in the Reckoning but also nobody to stop Him if He wants forgive His slaves. We just have to live our lives in between the two, by fearing Him and staying away from the wrong, and having faith in His Mercy and the acceptance of our good deeds by continuing to do them day in day out. And surpisingly, it is through this fear that we as slaves of the Almighty, can actually get so close to Him, that He becomes the eyes with which we see, the ears by which we listen, and the hands by which we do (good deeds). This means that everything in our life will be according to the command of God, according to the practice of the Prophet (PBUH).

And another benefit of fearing Allah was stated by the Prophet (PBUH) himself when he said that whoever fear Allah, Allah will make everything fear him, but he who does not fear Allah, Allah will make everything a source of fear for him….

Just think about that profound statement for a minute – think about our lives today, think about how quickly and easily we get stressed out about each and every little thing in our lives. Think about how easily our hearts are affected by the actions of others, and how restless our hearts have become…..

This is what happens when the creation loses all sense of humility and forgets to fear the Creator, this is what the Prophet (PBUH) was talking about.

As you will hopefully now see, there is peace and tranqullity to be found for the heart which fears God, and so once again, I invite all my readers to sit, reflect upon, and embrace fully the natural way of Islam – a way which corresponds to the nature of man, not against it.

And Allah knows best.

Ma’as-salaam – With Peace
